Location 1 - UH 2.2 Meter Telescope
Optical/IR telescope used mainly by University of Hawaii faculty and students.

Location 2 - United Kingdom Infrared Telescope
A 3.8-meter infrared telescope operated by the United Kingdom.

Location 3 - Caltech Submillimeter Telescope
10-meter antenna for submillimeter astronomy operated by Caltech.

Location 4 - James Clerk Maxwell Telescope
Eight 6-meter submillimeter antennas operated by Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and Taiwan.

Location 5 - Subaru Telescope
8-meter diameter optical/IR telescope operated by Japan.

Location 6 - Keck I Dome
Inside each Keck dome is a multi-ton rotating structure that supports the telescope. The entire blue-colored structure seen here can be rotated full circle.

Location 7 - Keck II Dome
Each of the twin Keck Observatory domes stands eight stories tall and weighs 300 tons, yet operates with nanometer precision.

Location 8 - NASA Infrared Telescope Facility
3.0-meter diameter infrared telescope operated by University of Hawaii for NASA.

Location 9 - Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope
3.6-meter optical telescope operated by Canada, France, and Hawaii.

Location 10 - Gemini Telescope
An 8-meter optical/IR telescope operated by a consortium of seven countries.
