Location 3 - Caltech Submillimeter Telescope
10-meter antenna for submillimeter astronomy operated by Caltech.
Location 4 - James Clerk Maxwell Telescope
Eight 6-meter submillimeter antennas operated by Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and Taiwan.
Location 5 - Subaru Telescope
8-meter diameter optical/IR telescope operated by Japan.
Location 6 - Keck I Dome
Inside each Keck dome is a multi-ton rotating structure that supports the telescope. The entire blue-colored structure seen here can be rotated full circle.
Location 7 - Keck II Dome
Each of the twin Keck Observatory domes stands eight stories tall and weighs 300 tons, yet operates with nanometer precision.
Location 8 - NASA Infrared Telescope Facility
