Location 1 - Machine Shop

Location 2 - Illuminizing Room

Location 3 - Doorway to Keck II Dome
Each of the twin Keck Observatory domes stands eight stories tall and weighs 300 tons, yet operates with nanometer precision.

Location 4 - Base support structure
Inside each Keck dome is a multi-ton pivoting structure that supports the telescope. The entire blue-colored structure seen here can be rotated full circle.

Location 5 - Instrument Room

Location 6 - Doorway to Keck II Dome
